I recently calculated that I have changed approximately 26,000 diapers for my six children. When I finally potty trained my last child, my husband and I decided it was time for a party so we called all of our children together in the back yard. We surrounded the 15-year-old potty chair in reverence and said a few grateful words on how it had seen us through many stinky circumstances. Then we gave each of our children a golf club and proceeded to beat the potty chair into ten thousand pieces.
After 15 years of changing diapers, it was a truly momentous occasion! Hallelujah!! Now, I mostly get to enjoy kissing and hugging my grandchildren and when they need a diaper change, I just hand them back to their parents.

I love that you beat that potty chair! I’ll have to remember that for the future
It could become a Crane tradition!
